Colonial Parkway - one of the most scenic drives on the Eastern Seaboard, runs from Yorktown where the James River joins the Chesapeake Bay, to Jamestown, just west of Williamsburg. For American Revolution history aficionados, this area is a Mecca of sorts for viewing true artifacts from this period in our nation's history.
